I have a question you may be able to answer. While reading this particular chapter, I didn't really find information on the whole gay/lesbian question and/or remedy to the "hoopla". Did I miss it? Is it in another chapter? Is it "implied" since it's not mentioned thus far?
Just curious.
This question crops up frequently.
Christ did not refer to homosexuals or lesbians and on reflection I know it is because in his consciousness, there is no sin, there are no right and wrong. There is only the Law of Love.
Whether homosexual or lesbian, the person is a spirit living a difficult life to find their way through to true illumination.
The kind of questioning which comes to us in our finite human minds does not occur to Christ.
He says he comes down as close as necessary to our level of frequencies of consciousness vibrations to enable him to perceive our terrible problems on earth to make it possible for him to offer the solutions. But in offering the solutions, he never says that this thing or that should not have been done. He points out where the mistakes are made and the repercussions which follow, only to help us become aware of how we break the Law of Love. And this attitude is carried through to homosexualism and lesbianism. The individual must live according to what they perceive to be the right thing for them- but must always remember that homosexualism, lesbianism or straight sex, the Law of Love is paramount. The BIG QUESTION is: how do these people conduct their love affairs? Are they loving, considerate, caring, protective, co-operative, supportive, gentle, generous, kind?
It is not important what the bodies do as long as the spirit within them is engaged in all that is loving, loyal and true. People must find their own physical standards and abide by them. People have different viewpoints at different stages of their lives and they can only do the best they know how at any particular time.
There is no:
'Thou shalt not'. There is only: 'Do what you, at this time, feel is the right thing to do - and do it with perfect love.'
